Corrections
Every figure on this site links to its source. If you find one that is out of date or a source that says something different, email us with the page and the source and we will check it. Train times are rebuilt from the MTA schedule and tax rates from the state's mill rate data when those are updated.
What we can and cannot help with
Live Love Work Connecticut is an information guide. It is not a Connecticut real estate brokerage, it does not represent buyers or sellers and it does not list, show, negotiate or sell property. If you ask for help, we introduce you to a licensed Connecticut real estate agent.
We cannot give legal, tax or financial advice, value a property or tell you which town is right for you. We can point you to the official source for a question and when you are ready, introduce you to a licensed Connecticut agent who works where you are looking. The introduction costs you nothing and you are never obligated to hire anyone.
What happens after you write
We read every message. If you ask a question about a town, a tax or a commute, we will answer with the source we used so you can check it yourself. If you ask to be matched, we will ask a few short questions about your timeline, budget and the towns you are considering, then introduce you to one licensed Connecticut agent who works in that area. You decide whether to go ahead with that agent.
Before you write
The FAQ answers the most common questions about moving to Connecticut and about how this site works. The resources page links to the state agencies for taxes, the DMV, schools and flood maps.
Privacy
We use what you send only to answer you or to make the introduction you ask for. The privacy policy explains what we collect and how to ask us to delete it.
